PFC 9 May 11/12
It wasn't the best night for us at PFC 9. Mark Maruzs and Mitchell MacPhee both lost unanimous decisions to their opponents. Not every night can be a glory night, but you guys fought well and represented yourselves and the club with dignity and honor, like real fighters do. Win or lose, we love you guys. I don't regret a single minute of last night. A real man is defined by the way he handles a loss, and you both are real fighters and real men. We love you guys! MMA is an individual sport, but behind each fighter is team. Your loss is our loss and we take it as hard as you do, so let's correct our mistakes in the gym by training harder and preparing for future events even better. On the other hand: Aaron Armstrong -- congratulations on a unanimous decision over a very strong, experienced and crafty opponent! Going to the fight injured, dealing with a last minute collision with the athletic commission, and then surviving it all to get in the cage and win -- that my friend is a pure class act. Aaron, We can't tell you how much respect all of us have for you.The way you behaved and fought should be an example for every professional fighter. A well deserved win. You're an amazing fighter and human being. Our hats go off to you! Unfortunately Matt Ogle fight was canceled due to unprofessional behavior of his opponent ( didn't show up for weight-inns )4 of our fighters will be fighting at PFC9
