Born in Montreal Quebec Canada is an unbelievable motivator, dedicating his life teaching others how to survive today’s predators and bullies while maintaining Respect, Honor and Self Esteem. René is the former co-founder of Reactive Combat Tactics "RCT" and Calgary MMA Fight club. For the past 20 years René has had the opportunity to train and learn from a variety of Martial Artists. By absorbing and evolving their techniques he created his own realistic and practical methods. |

Dave Bastianmuay-thai coachDave has been involved in Muay Thai Kickboxing for the past 16 years. 11 years as a student and the past 5 years as an Instructor/ Trainer. He comes from a long lineage of teachers, Kru & Ajarn leading right back to the sports origin in Thailand. Dave’s passions and dedication for sport, knowledge and experience in selecting talents make him an exceptional trainer. He was also involved in different combative arts such as Combat Sambo and Krav Maga. Vlad is a former Russian military self defense instructor. |

Jay Whitfordjiu-jitsu coachEveryone who attends Jay's Jiu-Jitsu classes always comes back for more. Jay truly understands and teaches real MMA jiu-jitsu, because he is an active and a successful MMA fighter with a record 3-1. He participated in and won many BJJ competitions, trained and helped lots of fighters for MMA competitions. Kevin DaveyJu-Jitsu and MMA coachKevin was born and raised in the UK, and moved over to Canada in 2006. He started training in Martial-Arts at the age of 12, and has studied various disciplines over the years including Aikido, Judo, Kickboxing and Boxing – but his main passions became Karate and Ju-Jitsu. During his competition career, he won the British Championship on 3 occasions, was selected for the Great Britain Karate Squad and actually fought for his Country in the USA. He attained Dan grades in both Karate and Ju-Jitsu, and started up his own Dojo (teaching both disciplines) in ’89. He has been fortunate enough to train under Royce Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Frank Shamrock, and other well known names over the years – his favorites being Erik Paulson, and Bas Rutten. Since retiring from competition, he has concentrated predominantly on Ju-Jitsu and MMA. |

Phill has a passion for mixed martial arts and the application of functional training techniques that directly relate to the art. In the process of attaining the Can-Fit-Pro Personal Training Certificate, Phill incorporates stretching and dynamic training techniques to assist in the mixed martial arts curriculum. |
